Iris Yoon

I am a mathematician working in the field of topological data analysis. I develop novel applications of algebraic topology to data science. I use topology, network theory, and machine learning to study problems in biology, including neuroscience, cancer research, and genomics. I am currently an assistant professor of mathematics at Wesleyan University. I received my PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computational Science from the University of Pennsylvania under the guidance of Robert Ghrist.
